A standard check-up and clean costs $238. If it’s your first visit to Dentistry At The Cross, you can take advantage of Check and Clean service for $245.
A standard dental check up and clean will take about 40 minutes. For new patients, takes a little longer so he can get to know you, thoroughly inspect your teeth, and put together a personal, prioritised plan for you.
A standard dental check-up includes a comprehensive oral exam, a thorough clean, and a strengthening fluoride treatment. X-rays are taken if required. The New Patient Check and Clean includes all of these services as well as a cancer screen, and a complete dental health plan tailored to your specific needs.
We’re so glad you asked! To keep your teeth in the best shape, you should have a check up every six months. That allows us to catch any small problems before they get big. But don’t take our word for it - read what the Australian Dental Association says here.
We accept all major health funds and have HICAPS so you can claim your appointment fee on the spot. Just bring your health fund card along with you on the day.
Our advice? Don’t wait until a dental emergency dampens your day. With regular six-monthly check-ups, you can keep your teeth in top condition and give yourself the best chance of avoiding painful (and expensive) dental problems like gum disease, tooth extractions, fillings or root canal treatment, down the track.
